Biogas production plant for Evida, Denmark

Green Energy Excellence by FornovoGas and Circular Economy by Evida

Evida is danish national gas distributor that guarantees the security of gas supply to over 400,000 customers and maintains 18,000 km of gas pipeline, also playing a fundamental role in the connection of biogas plants and the management of green gases in the gas network.

The project

Nature Energy is one of the pioneers in Denmark’s “Green Conversion”; with the recent acquisition of Banlev Biogas, in Jutland, it is the main national biogas producer with 10 plants, which convert more than 1,000,000 tons of biomass each year into approximately 53 million m3 of biomethane. Evida is the national gas distributor that guarantees the security of gas supply to over 400,000 customers and maintains 18,000 km of gas pipeline, also playing a fundamental role in the connection of biogas plants and the management of
green gases in the gas network. FornovoGas is the manufacturer of the compressors and technology used in this green partnership: another evidence of FornovoGas Green Excellence.

Customer Partnership

Fornovo Gas actively contributed from the early stages of the project, through active support in the analysis and subsequent technical sizing of the conversion and distribution plant. As a results, Fornovo Gas designed and installed a technical solution exactly tailored to the customer’s needs, supporting him in installation and final testing.

At the forefront of the design and construction of high-performance and environmentally friendly compressors and solutions, FornovoGas supplied two 3DA300 oil-free compressors installed in the Gasvector cabinet with the following technical characteristics:

Output

Fornovo Gas plant has allowed Banlev Biogas – Nature Energy to transform approximately 150,000 tons of biomass in about 8,000,000 cubic meters of advanced biomethane: this methane is fed into the network and distributed by Evida, thus helping to increase the Green Conversion of Denmark through the implementation of the Circular Economy.
