Caviro is the most representative wine cooperative in Italy.
Founded in 1966 in Faenza, today with its 12,800 winemakers in 7 regions
and the10% of the Italian grapes supplied, it is the largest winery in Italy.
Among the values of this great company, stands out the concept of integrated cycle development for a sustainable future: this means that in Caviro strategy converting biomass waste from the agri-food chain into biomethane is a a key factor to promote a real concept of circular and sustainable economy.
Fornovo Gas actively supported Caviro during all the phases of the project: the engineering excellence of highly qualified departments and operational synergy in design, start up and maintenance phase, enabled Fornovo Gas to supply a complete technical solution exactly tailored to the needs of the customer.
At the forefront in design and assembling of high-performance and eco-sustainable solutions, Fornovo Gas supplied three compressors DA300 110 KW VFD oil free with soundproofed GASVECTOR, fully responding to the eco-sustainability needs of Caviro. Thanks to oil free compressors and through the solution of soundproof cabinets (drastically reducing the environmental impact) Caviro and Fornovo Gas fully reached the eco sustainability goal of the project.
Fornovo Gas solution (compressors and gas vector)allowed Caviro to transform 390,000 tons of marc, lees and wastewater into approximately 12,000,000 cubic meters of advanced biomethane for road transport, equivalent to the supply of 18,000 cars / year, with a saving of 68,000 tons of CO2 /year.
